A Good Pet

D'Void suffers after a battle with Helen and Manny. What he finds in his citadel causes him to suffer again.

''You are going to perish slowly and painfully,'' D'Void said as he grinned at Helen with Manny. His eyes were on Null Guardians while they attacked his enemies. *My Null Guardians are good pets* he thought.

D'Void viewed Helen aiming a weapon at a Null Guardian. He frowned as lasers emerged from the weapon. *If lasers contact a Null Guardian...''
D'Void cried out after a laser struck his shoulder. After wincing, he ran into his citadel. He found himself in his chamber.

Three Null Guardians entered D'Void's chamber. One of them began to embrace D'Void.

Tears streamed down D'Void's face while he smiled at the Null Guardian. ''You're a good pet.''

D'Void's smile remained on his wet face as he concentrated on the other Null Guardians.

''You never harm me.''
