Manny said to Helen.
''D'Void could be anywhere in his citadel,'' Helen said.
Manny nodded as he walked in a hall.
Helen and Manny gasped after D'Void stepped out of a chamber. They saw a scowl on his face. They frowned as a few Null Guardians appeared.
Their eyes settled on the creatures while they screeched.
''I loathe trespassers,'' D'Void said to Manny and Helen.
The Null Guardians remained with D'Void while the latter approached the trespassers.
''How did you know about intruders, D'Void?'' Manny asked.
''Your footsteps are loud,'' D'Void said to Manny.
''Oh,'' Manny said.
''There is another offense!'' D'Void informed Helen and Manny.
The Null Guardians chased Manny and Helen.
D'Void began to smile. *Are my pets going to end the trespassers' lives? I have no idea* he thought. D'Void's eyes remained on Helen and Manny. *What's the other offense? My Null Guardians don't like waking up during naps.*
