Troublesome
"You're the one that is troublesome."
Glared Temari as she glanced at Shikamaru, who is peacefully laying down the cool grass.
Shikamaru sighed and said
"Come here."
Temari glared even harder and replied
"I'm not a dog Shikamaru."
Shikamaru sighed again,
"See, Temari you're the one that is troublesome."
Temari angry sighed in defeat and lay down next to him watching the clouds, her eyes are slowly dropping then she felt a kiss on her lips.
Her teal colored eyes shot up and saw Shikamaru, eyes closed with a small smile on his lips. Temari absentmindedly touched her lips and smiled, she rolled on his side and closed her eyes and fell into a deep slumber.
When Temari woke up from her nap, she saw Shikamaru standing and looking at the sunset. The wind is blowing on his face, his eyes are closed and his hands are on his pockets.
She walked towards Shikamaru and took his left hand and clasped it with hers. She sighed content and placed her head and his neck. Shikamaru observed the features of Temari and he smiled gently and said
"I want to spend my entire life with you."
Temari's eyes shot open and said
"What do you mean by that?"
Shikamaru shrugged and continued looking at Temari's teal eyes filled with curiosity.
Shikamaru took a box from his pocket and opened it, revealed in the box is a beautifully cut diamond ring. He placed his hand over Temari's hand and gave the ring to her and continued
"I want to grow old with you and laugh about your white hairs. I want to see you smile every day. I want to see you being mad at me because I was being lazy. I want to see you mutter my favourite word which is 'troublesome'. I want to see you with our future child, bringing him to school, scolding him for being lazy and telling him that he is exactly like his father but you still smile when you realize that he is like you as well. I want to be with you for the rest of my life."
Temari's teal eyes are now filled with tears,
Shikamaru hold on tightly to Temari's hand and continued
"I asked Gaara and Kankuro and they both agreed on letting me marry you and-"
His words are sealed with a chaste kiss coming from Temari.
They broke the kiss and he asked
"So is that a yes?"
Temari laughed and replied
"That's a yes, you troublesome genius."
