Timelord and Human

I am a timelord
I have two hearts
I am a timelord
In a way, immortal

I am a human
I have one heart
I am a human
Purely mortal

I am a timelord
I keep my distance
I am a timelord
With a wretched past

I am a human
I am one of billions
Why am I attracted,
To someone like this?

I am a timelord
I am one of a kind
I am a timelord
The last of the timelords

And these are the difference
That will keep us apart
No matter what we want
Our minds will tell us what to do

And this cannot be it
