Here's my weird attempt at iambic tetrameter. I proably messed it up a bit.
Rin to Sesshomaru
When I was mute, you gave me voice.
When I was helpless, you saved me.
In the darkness you lit a choice
And by that choice you made me free.

When I was weak, you made me strong.
When I did not know, you taught me.
And I have been yours for so long,
I can't remember the old me.
.
And when I cry, lost in my dreams,
Your presence chases the nightmares,
Your hands alleviate my screams,
And your whispers erase my tears.

It is a hope long forsaken
That I could repay your kindness.
For everything I have taken,
I would give the world and no less.
.
But for a monarch among kings,
My gifts must be worth less than hay.
I doubt my meager belongings
Could suit your tastes in any way.

Yet you still have my gratitude.
For what it's worth, I will serve you.
I can lessen your solitude
That is, if you allow me to.
