Before
It was a daybefore the choosing and three whole months before the games, not that i cared or anything. People say being chosen to compete is a massive privilege, where others like me think its a pain in the ass, bad luck and a waist of time. The games are what my neighboring cities andmy own agreed to do to stop the fighting, so you could call it a treaty i guess. every two years to keep the peace, each city is to select a boy and girl 'volunteer' to compete against the other cities.
Today was the day of preperation. Each city cleaned their main square, baked, and got everyone washed and presentable for the choosings. My city being city 12, sided in cities 7,8,9,10 and 11 in the war. We lost the war, so we copped the hard end of it. We're now not efficially the worst city out of the 12 of us but by far we're not the best. I think out of the 7 previous games we only have had 4 volunteers hat have won and two of those happen to be my mum and dad.
