Phoebe laid in Sibella's arms, quite content and comfortable. Sibella was caressing her stomach while pressing kisses to her hair.
"That was wonderful," breathed Phoebe.
Sibella giggled. "I'm glad you enjoyed it so much."
Phoebe turned to look at her.
"You're wonderful," she whispered. Sibella looked glorious in the moonlight. Phoebe was so taken a back by her beauty. She now understood why Monty was in love with her. Who wasn't in love with Sibella?
Sibella grinned, and the smile made Phoebe weak in the knees and forget how to speak.
"I love seeing you smile," she got out.
Sibella gave her another smile, and kissed her lips hungrily.
After a moment, Phoebe pulled away for air.
"I-I" her brain was jumbled from the passion of the moment, and this was going so wrong but she had to get the words out, "I-I love-I love you, Sibella!"
She immediately buried her head into Sibella's chest in complete and utter embarrassment, and squeaked out some sort of apology.
Sibella stroked her hair calmly.
"I love you too, darling. I love you so much, Phoebe," she replied, her voice as smooth as water.
Phoebe looked up. She fiddled with her hands.
"I wanted to say I love you for the first time without stuttering, but that failed."
Sibella smiled sympathetically.
"Oh, darling. I don't care if you stuttered. I'm just so happy that you told me because I love you too."
Phoebe eagerly kissed her again. Sibella was the one to pull away after a moment.
"But maybe, just for practice, you should keep telling me that you love me… just until you stop stuttering…"
Phoebe was more than happy to comply with her request.
