This was an idea that came to me the other day. It will probably be only a One-shot possibly two? My first TMNT fanfic (Based on the 2012-13 series) Oh and in this one I made Raphael the shortest- I can never tell if he or Mikey is the shortest and I think since Raph is tough and the best fighter Mikey should have an advantage :D Here it is.
They were chasing Snakeweed once again through New York. They were in two different teams- Leo and Mikey as one team, Donatello and him on the other. The shortest and tallest of the brothers were creeping down an alleyway- stealth. And that was something Raph was never good at.
"Ya see 'him Donnie?" The red masked turtle whispered, gripping his sai. Raphael was ready for battle. Ready to bash some heads, ready to get rid of this dang Snakeweed once and for all.
"Yeah, he's just around the corner. If we-" A loud crash behind them. Raph spun around and plunged his sai into the enemy. But this person was just a kid- a scrawny, ten year old boy! Raphael's eyes widened and pulled out his sai. The kid gaped up at the mutant and then back at the weapon that was pulled out of his chest, then he toppled backwards.
"No-" Raph choked out, falling backwards and scooting away. Donatello rushed towards the boy and caught him as he fell. The "doctor" of the brothers began to apply pressure to his chest.
"We need to stop the bleeding! Raph! Raph he needs help!"
"I killed 'em, I killed a kid!" He choked out, staring wild-eyed at the boy.
"Leo! We got a situation! Corner of 2nd! HURRY!" Donnie yelled into his shell-cell.
Donatello checked for a pulse hurriedly and when he didn't find one, the turtle started given the kid CPR. After about five minutes he straightened out and stared sadly at the young boy. The other two brothers appeared into the alley.
"Donnie! What's- Oh god!" Leo yelped, dropping next to the boy. "What happened to him?"
"Well, uh, you see-" His explanation was cut off by Mikey's voice.
"Leo? There's something wrong with Raph!" The leader looked over and saw his younger brother sitting on the ground, clutching his head and muttering.
"He's dead, really dead. I killed him. Dead, dead, dead-"
Leonardo looked at the wound at the boys chest and then at the bloody sai next to the body. He put them together.
"WHAT DID YOU DO, RAPH!" The blue masked ninja roared. The other two brothers flinched, but Raphael barely seemed to notice.
"YOU KILLED A KID! AND INNOCENT KID! HOW COULD YOU-"
"I'm sorry, kid. I killed him, a kid! Sorry, sorry. Dead, dead, dead..."
"THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST MESSUP OF YOUR FREAKIN' LIFE!"
"Dead, dead- sorry! I'm sorry! Killed a kid, a little boy..."
"SORRY ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH, RAPHAEL! WHAT ABOUT THIS KID'S FAMILY! WHAT ABOUT THE KID! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!"
"LEO! Calm down!" Donatello yelled, grabbing his arm. Leo was about to round on him when he actually looked at Raph. He was pale and shaky, tears running down his face. He didn't stop muttering.
"What. Happened?" He asked through clenched teeth.
"We were chasing Snakeweed when we stopped. We were waiting for an opening when this kid, I guess hit a dumpster or something. We were both tense and Raph was in "the zone" He whirled around and- and, this." He gestured to the body.
"Raphie? Are you okay?" Mikey muttered, putting an arm around his usually hot-headed brother. To all of their surprise, Raph leaned into him and sobbed.
"Dead, Dead, Dead."
The End! :D I might do a second part when they confront Sensai but maybe not. Just depends on what you people want
