The Palace Party
I was a nice, fine day in Haven City, roughly seven months after the Kras Cup, and if you were looking at the city from the Temple, You would probably notice something. The Palace was Alive and It was shaking and moving from side to side, straining the Six support towers an the cables. Why?
The Palace, That huge chunk of a building has been completed and for a reward to the citizens of Haven for their patience in the ongoing affairs, they were allowed anywhere in the Palace. The citizens, Exited for seeing their City from above, Moved places to get different views, And it was done in Large Groups. The Palace almost looked as if it could fall on is added weight.
The City Streets were almost completely bare except for the regular Freedom Guard Patrol.
Meanwhile, Jak and his friends were Celebrating the Completion of the Restoration.
Daxter and Pecker, was fighting over who would have the first slice of cake while Torn was drooling, over a bowl full of guns and a bowl full of orbs. Which one excited him more, who knew?
Keira and Ashelin were sensibly having a toast with a bottle of wine while Jinx was thinking on how to blow up the port towers without anyone noticing.
Sig and Samos were noting Peace Treaties (not that they were needed) between Spargus and Haven but Jak was just standing, alone in a corner, like a statue.
Daxter paused from his fight from Pecker to talk to him.
'Hello? What's bothering you?'' asked Daxter, Dodging a blow from Pecker.
'It is just weird, over the last few years, I was always in a battlefield, and now, there is peace, I don't know what to do?'' He replied as Pecker pinned Daxter down.
'Well, You could help me at the bar down south but probably Tess has everything taken Care of' Daxter squealed as pecker was choking him just a Daxter kicked him off.
'Or, You should find a...' But Daxter could not finish because a large resounding BOOM was heard and the whole city shook. Jak started hearing screams of the citizens on the Palace as they panicked, some tripped off the edge of the palace Roof. He got to an empty space of a window and saw fireballs varying in size, falling toward and destroying the city below.
He also got word that some new, Orange Guards have came through the Haven Forest Airlock and the FL Guards need urgent assistance.
'Dax, we have another battle to fight.' Jak said as he rushed to the elevator and loaded the Vulcan Fury.
That had too much description and is not the best I can do.
I think It needs more Dialouge but that is all I can do for now. Suggestions and Reviews Please.
