A.N.: Let me explain. I'm doing the NaNoWriMo challenge this year with the idea of doing a series of short horror stories instead of a novel. Starting to look into actually getting things published, as in with money, so I needed some practice at writing short stories. This is one of the results. Yes, this is my idea of short. Once I get through November and have enough material to start submitting stories I really, truly will finish Heart of Darkness. I will be putting at least a couple of the other stories up on Fiction Press to get some feedback, so if anyone is interested just let me know.
For the story at hand, please just assume that disclaimer goes all the way through. I want to see if the flow works well without the breaks.
