What if Naruto when he stole the Scroll of Sealing learnt more than one jutsu? What if the particular jutsu he used changed him?
What if he was actually 10 years old when he stole the scroll?
What if he was deemed to 'Powerful' and was banished?
What if the village was falling and they needed the help of the last Namikaze.
Well this isn't a story about all of that. But it is similar.
Naruto at the age of 10 was playing a prank on Old man Hokage… he was going to steal the scroll for a couple hours that was 'sacred'… apparently it was full of powerful hidden jutsu…
He, being Naruto… grabbed the wrong scroll. The scroll he did grab was even more sacred, only the Third knew about it because he was there when his Sensei and brother made it. He was there when Minato added to it…
He even added to it.
Naruto not knowing this grabbed the wrong scroll with a smile on his face… He snuck away and went into the forest… deep forest to open and read the scroll
With a big not so smart looking smile he opened the scroll…
He was engulfed in a white light and passed out. He awoke in a wet place… a tunnel place with leaking pipes everywhere
He heard sick laughter coming from down the hall… he followed it with a slight frown on his face…
He came to a large room. A cage was before him
"You stupid Gaki! Hahaha! Oh I can't wait until you wake up!" The deep voice from behind the bars said humour in his voice
"Who are you?" The deep voice laughed again
"Oh? I thought you would have gotten the memories by now…" The voice said tauntingly…
"Wha-" Before he could finish he was engulfed with pain. Memories flowed through his head… many, many memories…
"What is this?" The voice roared in laughter… Naruto looked up
"Kyuubi… I know you… but these… these aren't my memories" Naruto said weakly
"No, they are the memories of the First, Second, Third and Fourth Hokage. And Gaki… they're yours now and guess what? You got their skills as well" Naruto blinked… his eyes became distant… love crossed his features
"I did have parents" Naruto said in a calm manner
"That you did Gaki… your mother was my previous holder" Naruto nodded knowing that
"Man… I can't believe I acted like that… time for some changes" Naruto said sternly. He did some handsigns only familiar to him and Kyuubi and the tunnels and pipes disappeared… a large meadow full of lush grass, a lake, sky, trees a cave and mountains surrounding the place appeared instead.
Kyuubi breathed in the fresh air. He frowned when he saw that he had a bracelet on each wrist and ankle showing that he was imprisoned… but it was much better than before
"So Naruto… what are you going to do with all the information?" Kyuubi asked and Naruto smirked softly
"Nothing. I'm going to protect my village with my own power, become Hokage with my own power and keep everyone safe with my own power"
"What you got from that scroll is your 'own power' now" Kyuubi said and Naruto smirked
"Exactly"
He came back to the real world… he smiled completely contempt with his life and he promised himself… he will accomplish his goals
"Time to put this back and explain to Sarutobi…" Naruto said his voice slightly distant… "He was such a brat as a child." Naruto said with a frown going through the memories of the grumpy child
