Primals
A batallion of Mantel Troopers are on patrol, their B72 Assault Rifles fully cocked. The eerie sound of birds chirping around the forest is a deceiving sound for the soldiers. As they march around the bushes, the batallion commander, Major Brick Dawson, heard an unusual noise. As the troops spread out to find the source of the noise, platoons of camouflaged Promise Hand soldiers communicate with one another.
''AquĆ estan los soldados.'' Muttered one of the rebels in Spanish.
As the soldiers ready their guns, the rebels immediately pop out of the bushes from every angle and open fire.
''It's an ambush.'' Brick yelled to his soldiers, and returned fire at the rebels, with the rest of his batallion following suit.
The two sides exchange gunfire, taking casualties, with blood being strewn everywhere. Wasting no time, the troopers immediately dose themselves up with Nectar, increasing the intensity of their gunfire. The rebels, utilizing human wave tactics, attempt to break through the Nectar-bolstered defense of the troopers, but each single dose of Nectar in every trooper's blood made them nearly virtually impenetrable when grouped together. For a single trooper killed, 10 rebels were killed in turn. For minutes, the troopers continuously level up the dosage while killing rebels. Throughout the commotion, one of the dosed troopers, Private Franklin Stuart, started to experience changes in his blood pressure while killing some rebels.
Brick continued to yell for his men:
''Don't let up, keep firing!''
In the meantime, the other troopers started to undergo drastic behavioral changes while killing their share of rebels. The number of rebels killed prolonged the dosage every second, but caused the troopers to experience changes in emotion. Suddenly, as the firefight gets more and more intense, a huge scream envelops the forest.
''RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!''
The troopers, thristy for Nectar, charge towards the rebels in an animalistic manner, shooting as they went. The troopers are now acting feral, beyond human instinct. They plow through the human wave of rebels, killing most of them. One feral trooper grabbed a rebel by the shoulder and started eating his head. As it turned out, not only did the troopers become feral, but the prolonged dosage gave them cannibalistic tendencies. The rebels' numbers continued to dwindle as a result of many soldiers being killed or eaten alive by the feral troopers. Brick, being shocked at his soldiers' sudden change in personality, watched in horrific disbelief as they kill and eat the disorganized rebels. The intensity of the carnage is too much for him to bear, and he immediately called in headquarters.
''Command, this is Major Stuart. I request a pickup right now. My men are acting strange.''
''Copy that''.
Headquarters complied with Brick's message and signed off.
The feral troopers are alerted towards Stuart's call to Headquarters and close in on him with ravenous hunger. Brick, pulling out his D6 Pistol, prepares for a bloody stand against his own men. One of the feral troopers charged towards him, and Brick fires his gun.
