A/N: Oh my gosh, so Halloween's over (yesterday) and my mind's already on Christmas, what's the matter with me. Anyway this came to me while I was attempting to get into my favorite holiday season by listening to what else⦠Christmas songs, more specifically Christina Aguilera's version of the Christmas Song, and because I am finally getting my inspiration back I wanted to post this drabble right away without sending it to my beta. It's probably crap but review anyway please.
And no I don't own anything.
Blair Waldorf loves Christmas.
She loves the smells and the colors and the lights. The greens and the reds and the way the city seems to glow more then usual. She loves the expensive coats and gloves her father sends her from Paris, even if it is just a way of buying off her disappointment in him for once again not showing up that year.
Everyone on the Upper-East side knows this and dies for an invite to her Christmas party.
What they don't know about, is her love for snow. It's the frigid innocence of it, the way people can only be around it for so long before they get frozen back into the warmth of their homes. How unsuspecting people are of it until they get too close. But most of all she loves the graceful way it falls to the ground hiding away the world's, her world's, imperfections if only for a moment.
Yes, Blair Waldorf loves winter, because even an ice queen needs help hiding things once in awhile.
