A judge would never grant him custody. Supervised visitation is a possibility, but her father knows some excellent lawyers willing to represent the family.
Everyone knows his alimony and necessary child support won't be enough for them to live comfortably. But she can come live here. Lois dunks another bottle into the lukewarm water.
"I know," she sighs. "Daddy has those lawyers on speed dial."
Peter demands she hang up.
