"Today will be better. It has to be..." Emily had been starring at her reflection in the mirror when her sister Katie broke the silence with these words. "What?" Emily asked, "what are you talking about?" she was looking at her sister with a bit of anger mixed with sadness. "The past few days have been rubish, i know, but its gotta get bad before it gets good." Katie smiled towards Emily in an attempt to make her smile too. Emily stood there and shrugged, still staring into the mirror. "Katie, i know what you're saying is true, but... Naomi and me... I dont think were gonna work... Not this time." she started to frown again. "Em, you know she loves you, and she knows you love her. She wont leave you, especially after all you've been through." Emily thought about this for a moment. "You're right i suppose." Emily finally said. "I know, now, lets get to college, i dont want to be late again." they giggled and smiled a bit on their way out, and on their way to college.
