Stripping myself of my clothes, a heavy sigh escaped my lips, my breath taking the form of a misty white fog, the bath made of marble, the color a pale white. "I'm just taking a bath." I whispered, my mother standing on the other side of the door. My eyes slowly clothing as my pants slid down to my ankles. "Just a bath, mom." I repeated, the sound of her footsteps wondering up and down the hallway filling my ears. Letting my tense body relax, one of my feet slipped over the edge of the bath, the water rippling around the appendage, as a warm sensation greeted my flesh. My body shuddered as it slowly lowered into the colorless, warm liquid, my hands cupping it, splashing it over my face. "Let's play a game." Something whispered in my ear, the feel of their cold lips against my flesh sent a chill up my spine. "Water devil." It continued, the outline of a figure suddenly appeared in front of me. I gazed at it with a blank expression, waiting for it to continue with its speech. "I'm IT." Suddenly, a shrill laughter, filled my ears and I refrained the urge to cover them, my eyes squeezing shut as a small whimper escaped my lips, forcing a small smile to appear upon them. "Hi IT." I would murmur, my hands placed on my thighs. Suddenly, I felt something cold as ice touch my shoulder, squeezing it in such a tight grip I thought it would snap. The outline of a smirk appearing on what appeared to be its face. "You DROWN." It would rasp, my form suddenly pushed underwater. Although, I didn't give it the reaction it expected. I lay motionless under the water, not bothering to struggle, my eyes fixated on gazing at the ceiling through the water before they would slowly begin to close, my last breaths puffing from my lips as bubbles raised to the surface. "Pathetic." I thought I heard it hiss before it would pull me up into a sitting position, its hand remaining on my shoulder for a few moments before it would move away and the cold sensation was no longer there. My head remained tilted down, soft pants releasing from my lips, the bangs of my hair concealing the appearance of my eyes, the two of my hands resting limply on my lap. "What is it boy?" The demon that haunted me would cackle, an appearance of slits appearing within the air as it narrowed its eyes at me. "You should've let me drown." I muttered, a smile forming on my lips.
