At the apartment, Daffodil was taking a stroll around the courtyard.

Daffodil said, "This is a great day to walk around in the sunny day."

Soon, Daffodil heard a growling in the distance.

Daffodil said, "Huh, who there?"

She looked around the courtyard, but no one was there. Pretty soon, she was hit.

Daffodil said, "Ow."

Daffodil opened her eye and saw a mean bulldog in front of her.

Daffodil said, "Who are you?"

The bulldog said, "You are going to be my lunch."

Daffodil said, "My what?"

The bulldog scratch Daffodil between the cheeks. Daffodil was bleeding. She was just about to cry, but she decided to fight back.

Daffodil said, "Please stop."

The bulldog said, "No."

Daffodil said, "Why are you hurting me?"

The bulldog said, "That is none of your business."

Daffodil said, "Someone, HELP ME!"

Clifford heard Daffodil crying for help. He looked behind him and saw a bulldog trying to hurt Daffodil. He run up to protect her.

Clifford said, "Hey, what in tardnation are you doing?"

The bulldog said, "That is none of your business."

Clifford said, "Why are you hurting my sister?"

The bulldog said, "I told you, get out of my face, you red mutt."

Daffodil gasped.

Clifford said, "What did you say?"

The bulldog said, "You heard me."

Clifford got mad. Soon he started transforming into Super Dark Clifford.

The bulldog said, "What the?"

Super Dark Clifford uses Chaos Blast on the bulldog. The bulldog quickly dodge the attack. Soon, the bulldog started to fury swipe on Super Dark Clifford, but Super Dark Clifford was too powerful. Soon, Super Dark Clifford punches the bulldog straight to a tree. Daffodil gasped. Clifford was just about to end this, but Daffodil quickly got in front of the bulldog.

Daffodil said, "Clifford, stop it."

Super Dark Clifford said, "This doesn't concern you Daffodil. Get out of the way."

Daffodil said, "No."

Super Dark Clifford said, "But he was hurting you and he called me a red mutt."

Daffodil said, "Could you try talking to him?"

Super Dark Clifford said, "Well, okay."

So Super Dark Clifford turned himself back to his original form. Daffodil scooted away so Clifford can talk to the bulldog.

The bulldog said, "What are you gonna do to me?"

Clifford said, "Nothing. I just want to talk. You can start by telling me this. Why were you trying to hurt my sister?"

The bulldog said, "Well, I was hungry."

Clifford said, "So, you were hunting for food."

The bulldog said, "Yes. I wanted to eat by the garbage can, but some alley cats wouldn't let me."

Clifford said, "Well you could've ask nicely to eat."

The bulldog said, "I guess so."

So the bulldog went to Daffodil.

The bulldog said, "Daffodil, I just want to apologize for hurting you. I was just hungry."

Daffodil said, "It okay. I know how you feel."

So the bulldog and Daffodil gave each other a hug.

Daffodil said, "Come on. Let get something to eat."

The bulldog said, "Right."

So Clifford, Daffodil, and the bulldog went back into the apartment to eat.
