It is a usually hectic Thursday morning in New York City. Mike has just opened his eyes for the first time in the half-empty king sized bed. He looks to the right but Rachel is not there. She was at Columbia- she had class early this morning. Today had marked the six-month period of their engagement and the wedding was to come in less than a week. Something had not felt right. His bottled up emotions had been slowly surfacing over these seemingly ephemeral months. He had known it for quite some time now yet tried to remain deep in his realm of denial.

Rachel Zane was beautiful, ambitious, cultured and a delicious mix of chocolate and vanilla. He had known how lucky he, a former drug-dealing bum, was to have her-an independent goddess of noble class. After all, she was the daughter of Robert Zane. But something was missing. The flames no longer kindled, his heart no longer rushed to her touch. Six-months ago they had spent every second they could together. The infatuation had turned into a seemingly perennial love. Yet, with the passing of time his blood seemed to stir slower not lower in her presence.

But why had this been so? There was no explicit problem. Rachel had done nothing wrong nor had he. Yes, they had both been busy what with the wedding and their everyday jobs in Pearson Specter but they wanted this, he wanted this, wanted.

Still in a daze from his waking, he looked out the window and it then dawned on him. He knew what he wanted. He wanted her. He wanted Katrina.

Katrina Bennett was a fifth-year associate at Pearson-Specter. She was Louis's loyal assistant and an alluring Aryan. Mike had recently been taking note of her. His eyes had become more faithful to her than Rachel and the rest of his body was soon to follow. He wanted to hold her, to taste and to feel the curves on her waist. He enjoyed the way her golden hair swayed with her hips as she walked away from him. It wasn't fair for any girl to have those kinds of curves, he thought. It's not fair. Thoughts of her had been inundating his mind for weeks now. He wanted to hold her to the ground, rip her clothes to shreds, and feel her inside and out.

These past few weeks at Pearson Specter had caused him a great deal of mental conflict. Rachel had been spending less time at the firm what with her juggling school and work. On the contrary, Katrina had been closer than ever. Since Louis's leaving the firm she was put under Harvey's watch which, in essence, made her and Mike partner associates. They had been spending a great portion of their days and late nights together working at each other's side. It was not seldom that they would be alone in the firm closet experiencing these feelings, both incognizant of the fact that they were mutual.

However, looking out the window onto the view of the city, he knew now. Rachel was not going to be at the firm for another two days and he wanted Katrina more than ever. He wanted her and would get what he wanted; he would even take it, if she wanted that.
