"Itachi.. Itachi! Please, don't die on me!!" Sasuke cried out as he held his arms tight around his older brother. Those tears slowly began to run down his cheeks as they soon welled up in his eyes.
Itachi's breath became ragged as he reached up and placed a hand upon Sasuke Uchiha's cheek, gently stroking at it as he gave a weak smile. Sasuke's eyes dilated in shock by that, and it felt like his throat had tightened up. He couldn't believe he was going to lose him as well. He was gonna be.. all alone.
"Sasuke.. You have grown into a fine man..."
"Itachi!"
"Mother.. and Father.. would have been proud.. I'm.. so sorry.."
"Don't.. Please don't.."
". . . ."
"ITACHI!!"
Itachi was gone.. Swept into the darkness as his body laid limp on the ground. Sasuke's eyes came to a close as his body trembled slightly. It was like his heart was being torn all over again.
All of those years.. Training to destroy his brother.. To get his revenge.. came to an end. It was over. And now.. he was regretting it all.
