Hello . . . . Addict and Star here! We've brainstormed up a new contest to liven up this *cough* dead *cough* fandom. This contest is going to be a little different than the other contests we've had.
This contest is going to have categories, and you can enter as many or as few as you like (however, we would prefer it you enter lots of them, of course). Each category will have a winner, with an overall winner.
Anyway . . . here are the categories . . .
Best Romance
Best Family
Best Friendship
Best Fluff
Best AU
Best Crossover
Best Over-All Story.
Now that the categories are established, we need rules.
1. You can enter as many (or as few categories as you want) (i know I said this earlier, but what the heck, I'm going to repeat it)
2. You must specify which category your story is for . . . we don't have time to sit down and try and figure out which category it belongs too . . . .
3. You may not enter more than one story in more the same category
4. All entries must be over 1,000 words, but there's no limit to the number of chapters and you can have as many words as you want. (Just . . . be reasonable . . .we probably won't have time to read 5-10 5,000,000 word stories . . . )
5. You may enter only six stories at the most. However . . . I'm not seeing all of you entering every single category so . . . . and you probably already knew that . . . .
6. All stories are due September 1. Yes. That's right. We gave you all summer.
Now here's where our contest gets amazing. If you enter, and even if you don't (as long as you have a valid account), you may vote for a winner . . . . So that means you can vote for one story in each category. Except your own, of course. :DDDDDD
Voting will begin September 2, 2018.
You may vote in the reviews page of this contest . . . and if you've already reviewed, just PM one of us and we'll post another chapter blabbing about nothing for you to vote on.
Or... I guess you could PM either me or Star with your votes . . . .
Now . . . for the story.
Her fingers flew over the keyboard as she typed, single words joining together to become sentences, sentences becoming paragraphs, paragraphs becoming chapters.
The clicking of the keys resounded in her mind for long after she had stopped typing.
Here is what Amy wrote:
To all Cahills . . .
Seeing as other books have taken over the popularity of the 39 Clues series, action must be taken. You all know this is where we get our money for financial stuff.
All of you go join a fandom and start writing. Pull people in, talk about the excellence of the series. Liven up the fandom.
I have much confidence that you will do as I have requested. Now go and bomb the world (not literally, Lucians) with your Cahillness.
Ahem . . . No clue where that came from . . . but you need a story for this to be up soooooo...
