Frisk was almost ready to leave Snowdin to continue their journey out of the underground. The wind blew softly through their hair as they made their way to the other side of the city. The snow made a satisfying crunching sound under their feet with every step. As they neared the edge of the town, someone tapped them on the back. It was Sans, the rather laid-back skeleton with a silly brother. "Yo, kid. Before you leave, I've got a quick question for ya." Frisk tilted their head. "You wanna go get some Nice Cream together before ya go?" It was a rather odd question and certainly wasn't something they were expecting. Frisk nodded, not wanting to seem rude, and Sans walked them through a shortcut to the Nice Cream stand. Surprisingly, Sans actually paid for Frisk's frozen treat and smiled when they bit into it. There was something oddly soothing about Sans' smile, despite him only being able to emote with his eyes.
After Frisk ate their frozen treat, Sans made an odd request. "I wanna show you somewhere I like to hang out. You wanna come?" Frisk nodded and Sans extended their hand for them to hold. Hesitantly, Frisk grabbed his hand and shivered. It was obvious that his hand was going to be cold, what with being made of bones and all.
Sans walked through yet another shortcut and the due somehow wound up near a waterfall. The soft, purple and blue hues mixed with the sounds of rushing water was almost hypnotic. "Pretty, isn't it?" Frisk looked over at Sans and nodded. When they saw his face, they did their best not to giggle. It looked as if he was blushing, but instead of a red or pink blush on his... cheeks, it was blue. "What? You've never seen a skeleton blush before?" Sans sat on the ground and patted the spot next to him, indicating that Frisk should sit there next to him. "Y'know, they say if you watch the flowing water long enough, it helps to clear your mind." Frisk sat down next to Sans and sighed deeply, staring into the flowing waters. It was peaceful with the lack of sounds other than the water itself.
Minutes passed. It almost felt as if Frisk was floating on nothing. They were in a trance-like state that was utterly blissful. This state, however, was broken by yet another tap on the shoulder. This time, it came from their left. Frisk turned their head to see what Sans wanted, and was shocked beyond belief.
Sans had quickly put his hand on the back of Frisk's head, pulled them close, and nuzzled his forehead of theirs. For some reason, Frisk could feel their face burning up simply from being touched. It made their heart race and their hands shake. It was almost as if they were panicking when their breathing hitched slightly. They didn't really know what to do, so they nuzzled back shyly. It felt... nice.
Sans appeared satisfied with Frisk's reaction and had let go after a few seconds. He was blushing as well, but not nearly as bad. "Whoops. How'd that happen?" He stood up and stretched, as did the human. "Oh well. What's done is done, amirite? You should, uh, get back to your quest there, kiddo. Oh, and, you better come back to visit. There's more where that came from."
