Dirk had just recently broke up with Jake and none the less he was heartbroken. He couldn't believe what a fool he was to think that Jake really loved him. He should've seen the warning signs, he should've stopped texting him. He knew this fucker wasn't thinking anything about the breakup, none of them had thought about anything since they got sugar high off their asses. All Jake's thinking about is marrying Roxy and Jane and having a gazillion plus one babies.

Jake was too busy skipping happily around a Christmas tree to have a care in the world, even though he felt a sort of emptiness inside of him, he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was though but then bam it hit him like a train. Dirk had just ended their relationship. Dirk… his dirk, his overwhelming emotions deactivated Trickster! Mode and he stopped skipping around the tree. Jake kept thinking to himself about everything Dirk said and he couldn't help but realize how right he had been. But at the same time Jake didn't realize why he was so upset; I mean he was considering ending it with him anyways. Things hadn't felt right, but they didn't feel any better now. Jake knew what needed to be done and it needed to be done now.

Dirk had just been wondering around trying to distract himself from the emptiness he felt, he saw a rock nearby and decided to sit on it. He put his head in his lap and just stayed like that for a while. Dirk needed to let go of all his emotions so he could start getting over Jake. Dirk looked up and saw a figure walking towards him, but he couldn't quite make out who it was. "No, no it couldn't be..."

Jake slowly walked towards where Dirk was sitting. He saw Dirk staring at him uncertain of what he was going to do.

"English what are you doing here?"

I need to talk to you Dirk.

"What more is there to say, you said it all didn't you? The way you ignored me spoke pretty loud and clear." Dirk said trying to be as hostile as possible.

…yes but

"But nothing Jake."

Tears filled in Jake's eyes as he looked at how hurt Dirk was. Dirk was just staring blankly ahead showing no emotion what-so-ever.

Dirks just give me a chance to say something before you walk away forever.

"Fine, shoot."

Dirk I'm sorry okay, at this point the tears were flowing out of Jake's eyes and he was practically screaming.

I shouldn't have acted like you had no emotions and ignored you like that. After this Jake's voice got very low and he continued crying.

I thought you weren't what I wanted but you are, I love you so much Dirk. I know I messed everything up but can you find it in your heart to forgive me? I need you in my life Dirk, I need YOU…

Dirk sat there watching Jake confess his feelings and cry in complete and utter shock. After Jake was done Dirk sat there for a moment and let it all sink in. He got up, walked over to Jake, whipped away his tears, and gave him a passionate kiss.

"I love you too Jake, without you there is no me."
