He was always an ordinary boy to me
Until that one day when he said

It was an ordinary day
Just an ordinary day

As I reached out to his hand
All faded away.
No more.
Just an ordinary dream.
Just an ordinary day.
But as I looked out of my window
There he was standing there
And he said
"Come with me,
Live as a child as you can.
The life you can lead is right there in the palm of your hand."
He began to shine.
His smile was wide with white teeth beyond.
His destination was clear the way it seemed he was lifting from the ground.
But it was just an ordinary day.
A day when I was just trying to make it by.
But as I looked into those eyes, those sparkling eyes,
I began to believe that I could fly.
"Come with me
Where time does not exist
And your dreams come true."
So now I'm taking a chance on this ordinary day.
