The Ballad of Sadako Yamamura

In a village in Japan there was a girl,
Sadako Yamamura was her name.
And now I will inform you,
How exactly this story became.

Now this tale is about to unfurl,
Although it has achieved lots of fame,
It is also feared and scorned too,
Her hundreds of victims laid to claim.

With skin as white as a pearl,
And long, silky, black hair tame.
On a movie called Ringu,
Come, follow me, and play her game.

While hearing this tale, your toes will curl,
And your hair will do the same.
The terror that you never knew,
Will now arise aflame.

Reiko and Ryuji tried to unfurl,
To figure out the curse was their aim.
So hard they worked to find a clue,
But for what awaited them they had no blame.

In that well in the forest they heard a purl,
And so they will exclaim,
"The legend of the video is true!"
And of this story they shall proclaim.

Ryuji scampered away like a squirrel,
The life he could not reclaim,
It was time for him to say adieu,
Finally Sadako came.

Her watery grave that they will impearl.
For they all were overcame,
And now she lies among the dew,
Her story that has much acclaim.

Never again will your toes uncurl,
And with your hair the same.
The terror that you never knew,
Has now arisen aflame.
