The need for reasuring dreams
(by mae-E)
As he sat in the now empty comon room and looked out the window into the star studded night sky, the silvery moonlight shined down upon him ever so softly. His head rested against the cool glass of the window as his head seemed to swim with all that was going on inside it. The weight of what his life was seemingly building to was pressing heavy on his mind, and along with that crept in the doubts and sub-consicnece thoughts. He sighed deeply as he looked upon the full moon wearily then said to know one in perticular "I'm not sure that i'm going to be able to this. Can i really manage to do this alone?" He dwelled upon his doubts a little while longer, and before he realized it sleep had finally managed to over take him, after hours of sleeplessness.
He opened his eyes to find him slef outside looking up at the night sky and the full moon. He sat up to see he was in space lined with trees, and a little houses that seemed to be made of wood and paper. That were in a archtecual style unlike any he ever seen. Before he could make the movement to try to pull himslef to his feet he felt the warmth of a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see a girl in a white dress with gold trim, and long golden hair that reached the ground pulled into the strangest style he ever seen and eyes as blue as the daytime sky.
The beautiful girl began to speak before he could even bring himslef to even think straight. He didn't know why but felt completely at peace in this girl's presence. " Don't worry harry you'll have all the strength you need when the time comes to do what is right." he looked shocked that she knew his name but for whatever reason could not bring himslef to question it. she then contiuned on to say, " Forget your dobuts, all you really need to do is trust in yourslef. Have faith in your own abiltities, and you will find that you have all that you need within you, and always have." He looked ather puzzled he could see in the girl's eyes that she was being sincere and spoke the truth, but he didn't know how she knew, but in some small strange way it didn't seem to matter. she smiled back in return.
She knelt down in front of him to be eye level with him before she spoke again. "You are not alone, all you have to do is look around to see that you are surrounded by people who truly care for you. Even when you seem to stand alone aganist unwinable odds, your not truly alone for those who you care for most, are only as far as your heart's call for them." And then she reached out and wraped her arms around him in a hug. Startled at first by this action, but then felt the lull of safety and warmth from her embrace, he rested his head upon her shoulder closed his eyes and breathed her in with a deep breath.
When he opened his eyes again he was back in his spot at the window in his empty comon room. Was it a dream? he thought. It must have, cause his mussles groaned inprotest as he tried to move. The tell tale sign of having gone stiff over a few hours of non use. But yet there was something else, a deep rooted calm and peaceful feeling. More so than he felt in months maybe even years. He looked back out at the moon and its soft glow seemed to be smiling at him. And with both his head and heart feeling much lighter, he managed to stand from his spot and head up to his room to go to sleep. Knowing that it would no longer be a problem.
THE END.
