Sasuke gazed out the window, attempting to see though the rain the lashed out on the village. He was trapped. Trapped in a life of anger, hatred, and sadness. He wanted to be free from the nightmare Itachi had given him.

for freedom,
I know I'm not the only one praying to the one,
who
can bring me this freedom,
I'm ready for change, change, change,
change...
Freedom… that was the one thing he needed. He was going to change it. Sasuke sighed and shook his head as he realized how impossible that seemed. He was hopeless. Nobody loved him.
"Sasuke-teme," said a very, very familiar voice.
"What is it, Dobe?" he asked, longing for the feeling of Naruto's lips on his again.
Looking down I
lay,
I keep holding my chains,

"You seem… quieter lately," said Naruto, looking at his, blue eyes full of concern.
Sasuke gazed at him for a long moment.
"Naruto," he whispered, horrified with himself. "You freed me from my chains. I feel so… different, but the same still."
The Kyuubi vessel stared at Sasuke, onyx meeting azure. Naruto gently pressed his lips to Sasuke's, just as Sasuke had wanted.

"Naruto…" Sasuke whispered against his lips. "I need to…"
"Shhhh…" said Naruto. "You're fine now."
"No, I'm not!" said Sasuke, pushing Naruto away, feeling tears brim. "I'm trapped. I need to be completely freed. You've only helped free my love. I need more than that freed."
Sasuke heard the despair in his usually monotone voice.
Still you
patiently await yet I won't just let go,

Naruto watched Sasuke patiently, a surprise, coming from the Kyuubi boy.
"I understand," said Naruto sadly. "Follow me."
Naruto grabbed Sasuke's hand and led him out of the building and into the woods, ignoring the snickering bystanders.
"Don't care for what they think," Naruto whispered.

"Sasuke-teme," said Naruto, pressing Sasuke up against a cold, soaking tree. "I need to tell you something."
Sasuke waited quietly, regretting ever pushing Naruto away when they were kissing.
"I-I love you," said Naruto, looking up towards the cloudy sky, enjoying the feel of the rain on his face.

"I love you too, Naruto," said Sasuke, pulling Naruto's face back down and kissing him, fiery love and passion behind it. "And nobody can ever change that."
Naruto gazed deep into the night sky that lay deep in Sasuke's eyes.

Sasuke let the tears flow freely, letting the world know his sadness and his love for Naruto at the same time.
