This was just an idea I found in my notebook that I did a while ago. I don't know if it'll really mean much, but this is sort of my take on her.
Warning: This is not my best work; I just wanted to get the idea out.
Christina Adare brushed a strand of her dark hair away from her sweaty face. She closed her eyes for a brief moment and felt the wind moving past her as she kept a steady pace. Christina loved moments like these during her early morning jogs. In Paris, things were surprisingly quiet at five in the morning in the busy city. The peace always allowed her head to clear and focus on her thoughts. Sometimes unpleasant thoughts would resurface, causing her to reminisce about the past that she had left behind.
It had been a few months since she moved to France, thanks to her dear friend and the communications she held. Back in Washington D.C. where Christina once lived, there was a woman she knew by the name of Emily Prentiss.
Emily had been a top agent of the B.A.U or the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the F.B.I. The woman worked alongside with the flirtatious and daring Derek Morgan, the young cute brainiac, Dr. Spencer Reed, the lovable and colorful Penelope Garcia, the tough rookie Ashley Seever, the loving father-figure David Rossi, all under the never-ending reputation of the tough, yet caring Aaron Hotchner. Agent Prentiss had been with her team for almost five years along with another terrific agent in the media named Jennifer Jereau who had moved up to a higher government position. The whole team kept close almost like a family.
All was well with the agents as they moved from case to case, solving murders, catching criminals, and saving lives. That was until Emily's past came back to haunt her. Long before she joined the B.A.U., Emily was undercover to get close to a high dealer in Russia, taking on the identity of Lauren Reynolds. Years after Lauren died and Emily returned, that same man named Ian Doyle had found her and swore revenge. In order to protect the team who had become her family, she went to him alone and the two battled for dominance. When Emily's team finally reached them, Doyle escaped while she was quickly slipping away. Tears were shed when the B.A.U dealt with the death of Emily Prentiss.
Christina shook her head as she tried to shake away the haunting memory.
"Emily Prentiss is dead. Emily Prentiss is dead." She chanted through short breaths, trying to shut out any signs of her past life.
Christina chose her new life to protect not only her, but her family of which she could never see again.
I am excited for the new season to start already and to see someone come back! :)
