Bella's POV

First day at a new school. Great. Just take a deep breath and keep calm, I thought to myself as I walked through the doors. Oh my God everything looks so big and scary. Why did they have to transfer him here? My father had recently been transferred to Forks, Washington from Phoenix, Arizona by his police department. As I walked to the main office I noticed everybody staring at me. God I hated it when people stare, it freaks me out.
When I reached the office the kind lady behind the desk, whose name escapes me, gave me my timetable and pointed me in the right direction. As I was walking I wasn't really paying attention, when all of a sudden I was on the floor. I had walked into someone and just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I felt my cheeks burning up.
"Are you alright?" the person said. I looked up only to be dumbstruck by the sheer beauty of the boy in front of me. "My names Edward. Edward Cullen and I am a senior here at Forks high."
"Hi! My name is Bella Swan and I am a freshman here. Sorry for walking into you," I replied.
"No it's quite alright. I was miles away thinking how beautiful you are."
"Thank you."
"What lesson do you have next?" he asked.
"English. Why?" I replied.
"I'll walk you there." He simply added.
