A/N: Hello there! This is my first fanfic, so it may not be as good as ones that are to come. My only request is that you enjoy this fanfic. Thank you!

"Connie! It's story time!"

Notthisagain,Conrad Achenleck thought to himself. The last story time had been an absolute disaster—books strewn all over the floor, Hanna smiling awkwardly as he held up a copy of "The Little Engine That Could."

"Story time?" he had proposed, innocently.

Conrad crossed his arms indignantly. "And what, may I ask, kind of moronic book are we reading this time?"

Hanna frowned. "It's not moronic! Now go get Imhotep and tell him it's story time."

"He's not even here right now."

"Aw. Well, we'll have to begin without him."

.

Hanna plopped down on the floor with an unfamiliar book in his hands. He motioned for Conrad to join him.

"Today we'll be reading…Twilight by Stephanie Meyer," Hanna said, spreading the book upon his lap and opening it to the first chapter.

Later…

"'Edward in the sunlight was shocking. I couldn't get used to it, though I'd been starting at him all afternoon. His skin, despite the faint flush from yesterday's hunting trip, literally sparkled, like thousands of tiny diamonds were'—"

"…Hanna, what the fuck."

Hanna looked up and blinked. "What? What's wrong?"

"Vampires don't sparkle."

Hanna grinned childishly. "They do in this book," he said.

"Well let me ask you this, Hanna," Conrad spat. "Have you ever seen me sparkle in the sunlight?"

Hanna shrugged. "Well, no, but—"

Conrad cut him off. "But nothing. Vampires don't sparkle. That's the end of that."

Hanna ignored him and continued reading.

And even later…

"'Edward,' I wrote. My hands were shaking, the letters were hardly legible. 'I love you. I am so sorry. He has my mom, and I have to try. I know it may not work. I am so very, very sorry. Don't be angry with Alice and Jasper. If I get away from them it will be a miracle. Tell them thank you for me. Alice especially, please. And please, please, don't come after him. That's what he wants, I think. I can't bear it if anyone has to be hurt because of me, especially you. Please, this is the only thing I can ask you now. For me. I love you. Forgive me. Bella.'"

Hanna was about to go on when he was cut off by Conrad stifling back a sob.

"…Conrad…? Are you crying…?"

"No!" Another sob. "Bugger off!"

"Conrad…are you crying because of the book?"

"N-no!"

A few moments later, Conrad coughed and made a 'go on' motion with his hands. Hanna nodded and continued to read…

And even LATER…

"'And he leaned down to press his cold lips once again on my throat.'"

Hanna smiled and snapped the book shut. "The end!" he said cheerily.

Conrad sniffled and furrowed his brow. "That book was terrible," he snapped, several tissues surrounding the area in which he was sitting. "…is there a sequel?"

Hanna smirked. "Yeah. Do you want me to read that one next?"

"Fine."

Hanna nodded and put down the book and stood up to get the sequel.

When Hanna was out of sight, Conrad looked around, to make sure no one was watching, and picked up the copy of 'Twilight' on the floor.

There were three things Conrad was absolutely positive.

First, Twilight was an incredibly stupid book.

Second, there was a part of it—that was incredibly amazing.

And third, Conrad was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with it.

A/N: So, uh, yeah. Feel free to review! I'm also accepting constructive criticism, so if there's anything you think I need to work on, please don't be afraid to tell me. Thanks again for reading! You're awesome.
