From the time when I was young

I prayed for a child to have

But now that day has come

I wish it wasn't so

It's not that I don't love you

My precious baby boy

Honestly I do

But what the fates have planned for you

It tears my heart in two

Though I love you

I wish it wasn't so

They are cruel

To take my precious baby boy.
