"N-No.. Aunt Pol… Stop, don't take me! N-noo.. please, don't! I want to stayyy!" a thunder stroke. "Ahh! Em.. Just a dream.. not again.." Garion thought to himself, sitting on the edge of his bed.

It was only last night when aunt Pol told him that they are leaving for a long journey, and there a possibility that they may never come back.

Garion did not want to leave.

He didn't want to go before he talks to Zubrette.

He wanted to tell her how he feels.

It was planned a long time ago though, but he never had the guts to tell her.

Only now, when he knows he may never come back to Faldor's farm, he knew he had to tell her.

He started walking to Zubrette's house.

"No! I can't. It's night now, their probably sleeping." And so, he turned and started walking back to his house.

"But I must speak with her! Err, what to do… what to do.. AHA!!" Garion had an idea.

"I'll make a noise, and then Zubrette will wake up. Haha…" he said to himself, quietly.

He went to the kitchen, took a pot, and then, as soon as he was outside, he threw it hardly on the floor.

He heard footsteps, and thought it was Zubrette, so he returned the pot and went to her house.

In the middle of the road, something held his shoulder.

Garion turned.. it was Aunt Pol.

Ahh.. Oh-oh… I'm doomed

"Now, Now, dear. What exactly are you doing?" She asked severely.

"I was.. just.. emm.. walking.." he replied.

"Aha.. walking after throwing one of my pots on the floor?"

"Emm.. haha.. No, the pot was only to wake you up.. because I.. ah.. emm.. needed to speak with you! Yeah…"

"And why couldn't you just come to my room and tell me?"

"Emm.. Because.. because you didn't reply. Yeah, I tried, but you didn't reply. "

"I was awake, dear."

Garion wanted to run, but suddenly she caught his head with one hand, and with the other she touched the white strip on her hair.

Garion felt a weird feeling, and when aunt Pol stopped, she suddenly went to Zubrette's house and called her.

As Zubrette and aunt Pol came back, aunt Pol stood next to Garion.

"Zubrette, Garion wishes to tell you something." She told the girl, and as she turned away she whispered in his ears "Good luck, dear."

Agh! How did she know?! Goddamnit.

Zuberette yawned and said: "Hi, Garion. What's up? What did you want to speak with me about?"

"Em.. I. ah.. Would like to speak about that somewhere else, if it is not much trouble for you." He replied.

"ah, not a trouble at all. Let's go to the lakeside." She said, yawning again.

"Emm, OK."

And so they went on their way to the lakeside.
