An: I kno this is stupid! Just wanted to try things out a bit… my first fan fic posted online!!! Btw itz a rant!!! And I couldn't come up with a title!
I wonder what this vast world called the internet is becoming. It used to house true Lord of the Rings fans…
But now, it's just filled with people writing slash stories…
Don't get me wrong, some of them are really really good.
It's just that it bothers me that some people haven't read the books, and they still go about writing fictions. I mean, it might just be me, but I'm a perfectionist. I hate it when people get their facts wrong.
Does no one know that Legolas lived in a system of caves, (it's in the Hobbit) not a palace? If you did know that, then just for clarification purposes, you should put that in an author's note!!
Hey, it bothers me.
Does anyone know that Middle – Earth was not some sort of porn world?? And that Elves are not these wicked sex devils? They are supposed to be almost perfect beings.
It really bothers me that some people don't do their research before they write.
(Don't wanna come off as a freak here. Bear with me.)
I'm a perfectionist.
It bothers me.
Both the LotR books and movies I consider to be the best works of all time, and I don't like it when people make a mockery of my favorite world.
I really don't.
I wonder what has become of the beauty of fantasy. I love reading fan fiction, but there are too many stories that don't have the right info.
So please, if you are going to write something, please PLEASE know your facts before you go about writing stuff!
So, wudda think?? Its my first finished fan fic! Please review and tell me about wut u think and where I could improve and stuff. Flames accepted, hopefully there will be none tho…..
