"Where are we going Momma?"
"Somewhere very special child."
"Are we almost there, Poppa?"
"Almost sweetheart, just a little farther."
"There, do you see it child? Shining brightly in the pedestal marked with the Triforce?"
"Oh! It's beautiful! What is it Momma?"
"That, child, is the Master Sword once wielded by the legendary hero himself."
"Wow, really?"
"Indeed sweetheart; with the Princess of Destiny at his side he sealed the Evil King in the Sacred Realm with that blade. And someday, if darkness falls across Hyrule again, the Hero will return and he will need his sword so I want you to remember this place well."
"Why, Poppa?"
"Because, child, as the Princess of Hyrule it is your duty to guide the Hero to this sword should he ever appear."
"Oh."
"Now shall we head back to the castle, sweetheart? I heard the cooks were making your favorite cakes."
"Can I ride with you, Poppa?"
"Sure, sweetheart."

Author's Note: A dabble of about 157 words inspired by playing Twilight Princess. The image of Zelda's parents taking her to see the master sword seems so sweet. I see her mother as the calm and loving one and her father as proud and indulgent with his only daughter. Fyi - her father refers to Zelda 'sweetheart' while her mother calls her 'child'. :)
