AN: I never thought I would be writing a DJ/Eva fanfic but, I am now. I hope this is ok since this was kinda hard for me to write without them being to OC. This was requested a while ago but, I just recently started writing it again so, sorry! Anyway, enjoy :D
If there was one word to describe DJ's attraction toward Eva, it would be hopeless. From the moment DJ saw Eva, he felt it was love at first sight. Eva felt the opposite however and it showed clearly. She was disgusted towards his attitude to people and animals because he was so freaking nice! No one sane could possible have that much love for something or someone she thought but, she had a tough life growing up. Constantly told she was pretty or wasn't the best at something really affected. More so than most thought. Ultimately, she decided she didn't need people in her life, she was strong enough by herself, right? She didn't have empathy for others because most were weak in her eyes. They were the ones to cut her down and resort to violence so, they were to blame. She could give many examples and the name DJ was one of them. He, was by far one of the weakest to her because of his love for the world. She could not stop thinking about how ridiculous that was. People didn't give a damn about her so why should she? Still, she could not grasp the fact that he sympathetic towards the good of people. DJ didn't like the fact that Eva was cruel to people. Why could she see how beautiful the world was? Or how nice most people were? That was some of the questions DJ loved to ask her but, he is terrified of her and the answer. DJ wished she could become a better person and Eva wished that DJ could see the flaws of this world, like she could. The point is that both of them wanted the other to change, become a better version of themselves. At least in their eyes it was. They wouldn't get their wish though because neither knew of the others hidden desire. In the end, their attraction was meaningless because the both fell for other people, a male model and a surfer (1). However, neither of their relationships last. Maybe if they did try at a relationship, it could work and everyone could say that they were hopelessly in love.
AN: DJ was difficult to write for because well, I believe that he needs more character development in the show. Eva came naturally for me to write now so, I think the story is ok. Remember to review if you liked, favorite would make me happy, And subbing to me would be awesome! If you do all three, then you get a big "THANKS!" for me. Sorry I haven't published anything in a while but, I've lost all of my creativity for writing and yesterday was really bad for me. (1) Did you guys know why I picked those people? It's because I used to ship them and I couldn't think of any other pairing :p Another thing is that I love requests so, feel free to ask! Even for DxC since I can write for them but, I don't like them together. However, the ending might not be happy.
