Sunrise.
"Katie." Gibbs whispered. "Katie, wake up sweetie. Come on."
Kate grumbled and stuffed her head in her pillow.
"Go away! It's still dark outside for gods sake." Gibbs sighed. Walking around to her side of the bed he lifted her up and carried her out to the lounge room.
"Jethro, what are you doing?!" Kate complained. All she wanted to do was sleep.
Dropping her down on the lounge he instructed her to change into her swimmers. She did as he told her, also tying a sarong around her waist.
"Ok, lets go."
"Jethro, go where." Kate made no effort to hide the annoyance in her tone.
"Sshh" was all Gibbs said as he took her hand and led her out of their holiday house.
Walking along the beach hand in hand brought a smile to Kate's face. The water was washing over their feet.
"Come on, lets go in the water." Gibbs said as he threw her sarong on the sand and dragged her into the water.
Kate wrapped her arms around Gibbs neck and lifted herself onto his back.
"It's so cold!"
Gibbs smiled. As the next wave got closer Gibbs fell side-ways into it, holding onto Kate's arms. When they were under the water he could feel Kate's legs wrapping tighter around his waist.
When they came up he released Kate's arm only to feel her hand connect with the back of his head seconds later.
"You idiot. That was low babe."
"Yer, but your not as cold now are you Kate?"
Kate didn't answer. She just slide off his back and came around to lean into his stomach. Gibbs rested his hands on the front of her hips.
"Now do you see why I got you up so early?"
Kate nodded.
"It's beautiful."
"Not nearly as beautiful as the women in my arms."
Kate turned around smiling. She leant up and placed a kiss on his lips.
Turning around, they stood there in the water and watched the sun come up together.
So this morning i was at the beach as the sun was coming up and it was ssoo beautiful! so when i came home i decided to write a fic about it. :D
