The Revolution
Wars are a natural part of life. And as a country, it's difficult to actually stay alive during these things. These acts of man destroy my citizens emotionally and physically. They destroy my economy as well other relations with countries. But there are some good things about war as well. Like forming new unions, creating new nations, increasing economy and civilization, and of course, becoming an independent nation. I've had to go through a revolutionary war myself. The Finnish Revolution to be exact. It was a great challenge that many people thought I couldn't achieve, but in the end I was victorious.
Before I was the great nation I am today, I used to live with Russia. I despised the man and his family. Ukraine was nice and all that, but she as a big crybaby and it just got annoying after a while.
Living with a cold hearted man in the darkness of the Soviet Union was not pleasant at all. Everyday there would be violence, and everyday there would be death.
And the way he treated me… He treated me like trash, like I wasn't important to the world, like I didn't matter. And he did things to me. Monstrous things that I will never forget. I don't know why I didn't revolt sooner. He changed my life in a horrid way, and he changed my view on the world. Well, I had enough of living like a pet. I went up to him and pushed him down. I said I wouldn't be his puppet anymore, and I left him. But Russia wouldn't let that go too easily, so I declared war.
I didn't do it alone. I had one other country help me in the battle between Russia and I. Sweden helped me win the war.
After the battle was over, I won and celebrated with my people. I showed Russia that I was important, and that I was strong. But even though the war was over, I still needed to get my people back on track. I needed to form a successful nation, we needed to become more civilized. But I couldn't do it. I was tired and too weak to do anything. And that's when Sweden came back into the picture. Sweden helped me regain my military force and helped me to establish a new government. And after a while, I just moved in with him because of all the things he could offer.
Su-san and I are now living happily in one of the houses that he made for us, and we even adopted a son. Now I don't have to live in darkness and fear, I can now live in peace and actually relax. Now my life is exactly how I wanted it to be.
