Yoshi Plays Runescape
A/N: Funny fanfic about Yoshi playing Runescape. (I'm technically making fun of it and praising it at the same time.) XD Please R&R.
One afternoon at Yoshi's house, Luigi dropped by. Luigi opened the door and the two friends greeted each other.
"What are ya doin'?" Luigi asked Yoshi as they both sat down beside Yoshi's computer. Yoshi scootched his chair closer to the computer and typed in "Club Penguin".
"Well," Yoshi said."I was gonna log onto Club-"
"No, you're not," Luigi said. "Your gonna play Runescape."
"Runescape?" Yoshi asked, giving Luigi a glance.
"Yes, Runescape," Luigi continued. "It is an MMORPG."
"What's that?" Yoshi asked again. "I only know of an MMOG. And that is a massively multiplayer online game."
"Runescape is sorta like that," Luigi said. "Runescape is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game."
"What is-" Yoshi began.
"Shut up and type in 'Runescape'," Luigi snapped. Yoshi did as directed and entered the Runescape homepage.
"You can become a member," Luigi told him. "Being a member, you get loads of extra stuff, like you get a house, learn more spells, etc."
Yoshi nodded and read everything on the homepage.
"It's kinda like Club Penguin," Yoshi said. "Except they got swords and crap that can kill each other." He gave Luigi a glance. "That doesn't sound like fun."
"Oh, but it is," Luigi explained. "Let me make you an account."
After some time, Yoshi had his character.
"Do you have to be a human?" Yoshi asked. "No dinosaurs? Not even a penguin?"
"No, but I think there are penguins but aren't playable," Luigi explained.
Wow, Yoshi thought. Luigi knows a lot about this game. I hope it turns out to be fun.
"Ok," Luigi said, leaning over Yoshi to take control of the mouse. During a whole hour, Luigi had taught Yoshi everything there was to learn in Runescape. Yoshi was quite pleased with himself.
"Now, you're in Lumbridge," Luigi said. "This is where all the noobs are."
"So, I'm a noob?" Yoshi asked, sadly.
"Yeah," Luigi said. "But with some level grinding, you'll be on your way to a knight!"
"Level grinding?" Yoshi said with a sneer. What are we supposed to be grinding anyway?
After a few hours of Runescape, Yoshi was addicted.
"Alright, so how can I buy the rest of my rune armour?" Yoshi asked a few hourslater. Night had fallen, and the only light in the whole house was the computer screen. By now, Luigi's eyes were bloodshot and closed every now and then, but only to be woken back up by Yoshi's constant questions.
"Yoshi," Luigi said, tiredly. "Can I leave yet? I'm so tired. It's flippin 1 in the morning!"
"Not yet," Yoshi said, mashing some buttons on the keyboard. "You have to show me how to get some bowstring for a quest."
"You can't get bowstring," Luigi said. "You have to be a member for that."
"Ahh phooey!" Yoshi snapped. Luigi blinked slowly then exclaimed: "There is bs!"
"Where is bull-"
"NO!" Luigi said, cutting him off before he finished the sentence. "I mean bowstring. It stands for 'bs'."
"Oh," Yoshi said with a big smile. Luigi ended up leaving much later and Yoshi stayed up the whole night playing Runescape. But the peace did not last long, as a shadow fell across the land of Runescape the following morning. Only, IPwnu12345, aka Yoshi, could stop this evil that threatened the land.
