PROLOGUE
Hey guys. This is my First attempt to write things like this so I hope its good:D
My name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third, the Heir to the Tribe of the Hairy Hooligans. I used to be everything that my father didn't want me to be. I mean, I am small and weak compared to the others my age. But ever since I met my night fury friend, Toothless, that all changed. I quickly became the 'best' student at the dragon academy and earned some respect from the people in the village, even my father. At first I was happy until I realised that I had to kill a nightmare and that the only reason that people were giving me attention was cause of how I performed in the dragon ring. It was never about the Hiccup that worked with Gobber or the Hiccup that burned houses down. It was about the Hiccup the dragon tamer or the dragon whisperer.
That's when I decided to leave Berk. No one cared about the real me. All they cared about was the person that I wasn't. Of course, I didn't leave without leaving a message to certain people to give them a piece of my mind. I packed my things and went to bed early that night to make sure that no one would see me leaving in the morning. Once I got up, I quickly ate and rushed down to the cove where I found and now meet Toothless.
"LEAVING! We're leaving. Let's pack up. Looks like you and I are taking a little vacation, forever. "
Toothless looked at me with a dragon smile on his face. I told him my whole life story and I knew he was the only one who would understand me. The idea of being free. No one could hold me back. Not now, Not ever!
