Is it fate? Or is it destiny that we meet again? Nope, it is because of this fanfiction that we meet again. DISCLAIMER: *yawns* Boring!
I shall not waste anymore time so here you go-

Everything was lost, or rather taken away from him. He had no reason to live for anymore. His father, mother and even his own heart was taken away. He had nothing. He may have been Ironman, but even inside that armor of iron, there was a heart. He had feelings.

A tear fell down from his eye onto his cheek, but he didn't care. He was sitting on a stool in the armory alone, in front of his armor with a set of tools on his side. He was scarred, by the dark memories of his past. But he was scared. He was scared about something he didn't even know. He was scared of dying, but he didn't want to live a life like that either.

Something stopped him from pushing that sharp blade into his chest. But he didn't know what it was and why it stopped him. He never imagined doing a thing like that to himself.

He had everything, but still it felt like nothing. He picked up the blade, and another tear dropped. But then he set it down again. He just couldn't. It felt like a mysterious force was stopping him.

Just then Pepper entered the armory. "Hey Tony… Tony? Are you alright?" Pepper asked as she walked towards him. He just wasn't responding. Then Pepper saw dry tears on his face. It wasn't likely for Tony to cry.

She followed his gaze and realized what he was staring at. Her eyes widened with shock and she pulled Tony to face her. "Don't…" was all she said. "Tell me, I'll help you. Please don't do it. It's just not the answer and it'll never be." She told Tony placing her hand over his, and squeezed it a little bit to calm him down.

"I can't, I-I just c-can't live like this." Tony said "With all these memories, they make me cry, it-it just hurts." He said

"I know, it hurts, but then you have to let go Tony. You can't just stick to things. I know because I lost my mom too. It was terrible. Coping up with the new life, and school and all. I lost my confidence. But still, I lived on, because I had to. Because I knew that I would meet someone special, who would help me get through the tough times and the scarred memories." She said as a tear fell out of her eye too.

"But I don't have any reason to live. I don't have anything to live for." He said as Pepper placed a finger over his lips.

"Yes you do, and I know that reason. It's me. You are the special person in my life, and you've always helped me get through the tough times." She said

"Then I guess we have a lot in common." He said as he gave a small smile.

"Next time, don't give me the creeps like that." Pepper said as she got up.

"I think I forgot to tell you something." Tony stopped her.

"And what would that be?" Pepper asked.

"Three words. I. Love. You." He said.

"And I always did from the day I first saw you." Pepper said as she gave him a quick kiss and left the armory.

He couldn't believe it. Just one person in his life helped him overcome his scars of the past. One girl. One special girl. The special girl of his life.

How was the story? I'm good at sad stories, with deep emotions. Thank God Rhodey didn't just stick his nose into their moment.
Funfact: I love 3 things:
1) I love cliffhangers, and I always try to keep one at the end of each chapter to keep the readers interested,
2) I love cookies,
3) I love REVIEWS!
