What is Love?
To some, it's at first sight...
Based on looks alone...
The basis for living...
To me, Love is the worst mistake I've ever made.
I gave my heart to
someone...
I have no doubt in my mind this person is the one it's supposed
to belong to
But do they know that?
It hurts
Every minute it breaks my heart
That I can't seem to back out of this
I can't even look
at someone else without feeling guilty
I told you I gave my heart to you and only you
And I do not intend to back out of that.
Not everyone can
fall in Love with just one person
And be able to keep that love strong
Especially if it's not returned.
Especially if it's not returned.
I can't get rid of
these feelings...
WHY CAN'T I FORGET YOU!
I know why.
You're the best thing that's ever happened to me.
You are the light in my darkness...
The hope I need to live through the day
The courage I need to Love.
I pray one day you
will return these feelings,
But I won't get my hopes up.
I don't want my ability to love you be crushed.
Just know this...
If you can't find
anyone to love you as much as I do,
Which I know will happen for you,
I'll be right here waiting.
In the meantime, I ask myself...
