Hey, I'm writing a new story!!! It's Twilight, obviously, so enjoy!

I sighed as I left my warm, nice house and hopped into the white F-150 parked in my driveway. It was Monday morning, and I was heading to school. I was starting at a new school today. Forks High School. I hate school. It annoys me greatly.

Apparently that was big news, a considering that Forks High school had 300 students' tops. I wouldn't even become friends with anyone. You see I have to stay away from humans. I'm different, and if anyone ever found out my secret, I'd die. Literally. You see, I'm not completely human. I was born in 1903. When I was 15, the Spanish Influenza plagued my country. The doctors were losing patients too fast, and they were working as fast as possible to find a cure.

I volunteered to test a new product, because I caught it myself. Well, the medicine did heal me, just in the wrong way. It messed with my chemical makeup, and so now I'm not fully human, I'm half vampire. Freaky, huh? Man, the crap I had to go through to convince them the medicine didn't cure my sickness, and then get them to let me go. Well, I just kinda disappeared, but that's beside the point.

Finally I got to school and got out of my car. I grabbed my sky blue backpack, made sure my car was locked, smoothed my black hoodie and my jeans, and walked the short distance from the parking lot to the school. I glared at my black and white vans as I walked, paying absolutely no attention to where I was going. The wind whipped around furiously today, blowing my shoulder length orange-ish brown hair into my blue-green eyes.

I sighed and opened the door to the office. It wasn't that great, with slightly peeling soft green paint, and 4 chairs in the room in front of a desk, with papers scattered all over it.

"Oh hello, you must be Miss McJohns." The lady behind the desk said and smiled. "Yes ma'am." I said and gave her a small smile back. "Well, I hope you enjoy Forks High! Here's your schedule, and locker number and combination." She held out some papers for me. I grabbed the papers and nodded. "If you need anything, just come back here! Have a good day Miss Pepper!" I smiled slightly and left the office. Yeah, my name's Pepper. It's very unusual, but I like it.

I stepped into the hallways and saw them crowded with people. I quickly found my locker, and opened it to see it all ready filled with the books I'd need. I had my binders in my backpack, so I unloaded them into the locker. I looked at my schedule to see I had Algebra 2 first. I grabbed the things I would need, and headed to room 124.

I opened the door to my room and quickly saw that the teacher was already there. She motioned me over. "Hello, Pepper. I'm . Well, let's see. You can sit here!" She proclaimed happily and pointed to a seat in the 3rd row, 4th seat back. I nodded and put my things down the plopped tiredly into the seat. I scanned the room. Only a few people were in there. The bell to begin class rang, and the rest of the students quickly rushed in.

Class went by quickly. Gratefully I scampered out of class as the bell rang. As I headed to my locker, something changed my world. And when I say changed, I mean basically flipped it upside down.

That's it! It's pretty short, but it's the Prolouge!! This is set before Edward meets Bella! Bella, the Cullens, and Werewolves should come into the picture soon! Please review!!
