Drabble – Going Home
Alexander and Hephaestion walked around the sets on the movie lot watching the technicians work to get ready for the next shoot. They approached the bedchambers and stopped too look at them.
"It's almost like going home, isn't it?" said Hephaestion.
"Aye," said Alexander with his arms crossed and one hand on his lips tapping his mouth, "but something is missing from your room."
"It looks pretty close to me."
"Oh, I know what it is," said Alexander with a grin, "Your stool!"
The handsome face next to him turned into a scowl before he turned to answer. "History doesn't need that stool, it didn't even need it a thousand years ago."
Alexander smiled broadly at him when a big crash could be heard behind them.
Jared was sprawled on the floor with a stool wrapped around his legs. A worker looked very pale as he apologized for leaving it in the path to the set. Jared told him it was his fault, he wasn't watching where he was going. Colin helped him back up to his feet.
"See it is still causing trouble and why couldn't Colin have tripped over it?" Hephaestion said.
"Because it's just a "Hephaestion thing"."
