The Pets

2012

I will add Willow's baby into this when its born. Its daddy is a Gypsy Vanner which just happens to be my favourite horse breed. I can't wait to see it. :D

Gracie: Gracie is a Husky/Yellow Labrador Retriever. She is 12 years old and loves people. We have had her since she was 2 years old. When she was a puppy she was abandoned and found in a park. She was sent to the pound and someone adopted her. When they didn't want her anymore she was sent back to the pound. A couple adopted her, and they had her for about a year. She spent most of that year in a cage in the garage. They didn't think it was fair to keep her in a cage, they decided to give her away. That's when we got her. Now she has been with us for 10 years, and hopefully many more to come.

Brianna: Brianna is a black lab/coon hound. She is almost 4 years old and loves balls and playing outside. We got her when she was 4 months old. We got her from a family who adopted her from a farm. They had her for a week and decided to sell her. We were looking for a friend for Gracie who was about 8 years old. We went to look at her and bought her from them, we brought her home that night. She loves it here and loves Gracie and the cats.

Pouf: Pouf is a 3 year old tabby cat. She likes to lie on your lap and flick her food out of her dish. We found her in our back yard as a kitten and spent a little while getting her to trust people. We got her inside with a dish of mackerel just beforea big snow storm. Now she loves her sister Oreo and they sleep together sometimes.

Oreo: Oreo is a tabby cat like Pouf. She is 2 years old and loves exploring in the backyard. We got her from the barn where we board Lily. We brought her home when she was ready to leave her mom. She also loves food. When she was a kitten her mom brought her and her brothers 2 mice. Oreo sat on one and ate the other.

Lily: Lily is my Quarter Horse/Appaloosa. She is 9 years old and loves jumping and apples. We got her when she was 5. She was raised as a pet on an apple orchard. Her sister and she were found in a field beside a slaughter house when they were foals. Her old owner took her and her sister Lizzie home where she grew up. She is an amazing horse. I am currently riding and showing her in 2ft 6 in/ 2ft 9 in hunter.

Willow: Willow is my baby girl. She is currently on a free lease and is in foal. She is a Welsh/Paint horse with a great personality. I miss her all the time and if I could afford to pay for her board she would be living closer to me. She is 14 but she acts like she's 6, the reason I couldn't keep her is because she has heaves and asthma and she can't live in sand and shavings. So instead she has pasture to graze on and a foal to take care of when it's born. I'm crying as I'm writing this, I love you baby girl and I miss you so much. I promise I'll come visit you soon. 3

Midnight Madonna: Madonna was a great horse even though I only knew her for a couple months. She will always be remembered and was a great friend. I think she passed away from colic. I found her in the paddock one morning just laying there. I walked over to her and kept asking her to get up. She just laid there and I fell down crying. R.I.P Madonna, I hope that you like heaven and can play and graze with all the other horses up there. I love you pretty girl.

Even though Madonna isn't alive I wanted to put her in this. I owe it to her, she showed me what trust is and was my only friend for a while. If you want to see pictures of my pets then go to my homepage. It will take you to Google + then search for Diane Chartrand. If you have google+ and want to be friends then send me a request on it. :)
