Change

"I don't hate you," Addison murmured to Meredith, who smiled at her with her sparkling morphine eyes, Addison sighed and her hand found Meredith's, she gave it a small squeeze, "There isn't a thing I'd change about you, you know?" she asked,

"Really?"

Addison thought, "Actually no, there is one thing I'd change."

The blonde frowned, "What is it?" she asked, her eyes curious,

With a blush Addison gathered her courage, she lent forward and brushed her lips so softly, so delicately, against Meredith's. "I wonder if you can guess," she whispered,

Meredith's grey eyes never let go of Addison's blue ones, "yes," she breathed, but then she was taken with the urge to break the ice, to fill the leftover silence, "How come we never talked like this before?" she asked with a grin,

Addison let a mask cover her face and she lent forward slightly with a smirk on her face, "The only reason we're talking like this now, is because I know you won't remember a single word of this when the drugs wear off." she stood up and left the room, leaning back on the closed door breathing deeply,

"Hey," she looked up to see Derek, "Were you just talking to Meredith?"

"Yea," Addison nodded awkwardly, "Don't… uh, don't hurt her again."
