A/N- Hey. This is my first McLeods Daughters story. I have written 4 Harry Potter stories. I wrote this after watching My Moon, My Midnight and The Long Goodbye of Season 3. I have seen it many times before, but I'd just been to see a really sad movie, and I wanted to cry some more, so I watched those episodes- they always make me cry. I hope you like. To My Dearest Baby Daughter Charlotte,
I am writing this in the event that anything should happen to me. I want you to know that I love you with all my heart and that I love Alex too. I hope that he stays apart of your life as he is a very important part of mine too.
I hope that by now Tess and Nick have finally tied the knot and if they haven't, could you tell them to get a move on? Have they given you any cousins to play with yet? I have to make sure Tess is looking after you and that you're comfortable where you are. I ask that you make sure Tess is happy because sometimes she needs a little push to make the right decision.
My dearest wish is that when you're old enough, you will run Drovers with your cousins and that Drovers Run stays out of the hands of Harry Ryan.
I always knew you would need Tess to give you advice on girly things, but I always thought I would be there to keep you tough. I guess Alex will have to help you there.
Is he happy? Has he found someone else? I hope so. I want him to move on and to be happy.
I hope that you are happy, safe and well. I know what it's like to lose a mother and I wouldn't wish on anyone. Remember that Meg, Jodi, Terry, Tess, Nick and Alex – they're all there for you. They all love you. I love you.
