His team was on an extended mission, nights spent in a city were at a minimum, and Neji was convinced this had caused Ten Ten to loose her mind. Another splash for no less then the forth time. The mission must have gotten to her, for she had taken to throwing knives in to the water. Also, judging by the way that hairs were clinging to her face, it would seem that more then knives had been in the water this day.
Deciding this had gone on long enough, Neji cleared his throat to gain his teammate's attention. She glared at him with a look that said "WHAT!?" to paraphrase that is. "Ten Ten, what are you doing?"
"Fishing." That was it, no details nor thought just a simple blunt answer. "I've had nothing but field rations for three days, tonight is a fish fry." While it would be beneath his dignity to complain about the rations that had a taste resembling saw dust, he could understand her plight.
Deciding this was a noble enough cause to aid in, Neji activated his eyes and began to scan the water. There! With his trained reflexes Neji had the fish impaled in no time. Ten Ten smiled at him as she picked it up out of the water. "Not bad." She stated simply.
Tossing the fish up to him she started to walk towards the nearby trees. "Start cleaning them and I'll get the fire going." Them, as in more then one? Looking behind him Neji saw 5 fish hanging from a line over a nearby tree limb. Even he couldn't help but be slightly impressed.
Wait a minute, did she just tell HIM to clean the fish?
