Hungry Like the Wolf.
Everything had been fine, really, he had been content with sipping his tea, and watching the twin's cheesy dance moves, or Nymphadora nearly impaling herself on the fire poker rested against the kitchen counter; when Sirius, whom was downright cheerful, without the aid of fire whiskey, thank Merlin, sporting a sweaty brow, turned to the radio sitting on the edge of the counter, and with the help of a charm, reset it to play a new station.

When he had finished his task, he spun around to face Remus, and gave him a wide grin, one that Remus knew all to well. Too well. Sirius had used that exact grin only once before in his life- and that had lead to nudity, mental and physical scars and months of detention. And that grin had been tiny compared to the one he was sporting now!

Sirius stopped grinning, thankfully, and walked back into the throng of people. Of course, it had been Remus's idea to throw the 'party'; one that was desperately needed, due to the death of a valiant Order member a week back. So really, he only had himself to blame for whatever was going to happen next.

Almost instantly, as soon as the crackling had stopped on the radio, it began to churn out a 'Golden Olden'. Remus stiffened as the opening bars of Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like the Wolf', began to play. He flickered his gaze over to Sirius. Being the smug bastard that he was, Sirius was dancing; abet not very well, a huge smile on his face.

-

Sirius enjoyed other people's suffering- well, mainly Moony's. Anyway, that was why he had decided to switch the station. It wasn't his fault it had chosen to play that song! Well, um, oh okay, yes it was! But no one knew that, right? Anyway, it was a very nice thing to do, wasn't it?

-

As soon as Remus had begun plotting his friend's painful death, Nymphadora Tonks slid up to him, her face flushed from the disco moves she had doing with Fred and George.

'Remus!' She gasped, her dark eyes full of hope, 'You've got to get out there! Look, even Sirius is singing! Come on; go support your best mate!'

Remus swung a glance around Nymphadora, and found, unbelievably, Sirius standing on the kitchen table, holding a glass up to his lips, screaming the words to 'Hungry Like the Wolf'.

-

Moments later, it was as is some invisible force had decided that Remus had to be out there with Sirius, reliving his teenage years, whilst making a huge fool of himself. No wait, that force was Tonks.

With a heartfelt sigh, Tonks lent down and pried him off the chair. He stood, his sweater crumpled, and hair ruffled. Nymphadora stood beside him, gasping for air, but eyes shining with amusement as she watched Sirius.

'I can't Nymphadora!' He pleaded, turning to her, ' I can't! No, I won't. Thank you very much for the offer, but I decline.'

'I wasn't offering.' Growled Tonks in a voice that, strangely, sounded like Moody's, 'Get out there, Lupin, and for Merlin's sake, sing!' She reached up and ruffled his hair even more, 'Now. That's an order.'

He felt himself nod, turn and take a few step towards the table, then falter. He turned to look at Tonks.

'Go on!' She encouraged, and with a silly grin on his face, Remus made his descent on the table, grabbed an up-turned glass, and with a glance at Sirius, whom gave a nod, belted out the chorus, all whilst stealing quick glances at Nymphadora.

'And I'm hungry like the wolf………………'

AN: So. Yeah. Well, this fic is inspired by two fan fictions. First is Kerichi's Blue Moon series, in which she refers to Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like the Wolf.' Second is a fan fic I read ages ago, in which the twins have cheesy disco moves and was the inspiration behind the 'party'. Review.
