After a month and many weeks of working, Skipper and the others were tired and should get some shut-eye since it was night. After all, they deserve it. Marlene said good night to everyone as she went back to her habitat. Skipper, who kept looking at the otter, was caught by his team and the lemurs.
"What?" Skipper asked the others, who were smirking.
"Oh nothing. It's just we keep noticing you looking at Marlene." Maurice said, who snickered a little
"So what? Just because I'm staring at Marlene, doesn't mean I have a crush on her." Skipper denied.
"Denial, check." Kowalski said as he smiled.
"What the?"
"Confusion, check." Private said.
"Okay, what's going on?!" Skipper demanded.
"Anger plus confusion, check." Maurice said.
"ALRIGHT FINE! I ADMIT IT! I DO HAVE A CRUSH ON MARLENE!" Skipper shouted as the three smiled.
"Glad to know." A familiar female voice said.
Everyone turned around as they saw Marlene coming out of the shadows. Skipper blushed deep red as the others snickered.
"I heard everything." Marlene said as she raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, we'll leave you two alone." Maurice said as they left to their habitats.
"Now. I want to know you had a crush on me." Marlene demanded.
"Uh..."
"Tell me now." Marlene said.
"Remember the first TD story? That's when I started to fall really hard for you." Skipper said.
"I don't believe you."
"The Christmas story, I really wanted to kiss you that time. I was thanking mom." Skipper said as he blushed.
"R-really?"
"Yeah... I really love you, Marlene." Skipper confessed as he gave Marlene a kiss.
Marlene was shock at first but then got a hang of it. She kissed Skipper back and hugged him tight. Little did they know, the others were watching. Julien, who was heart-broken, cried on Maurice's shoulder. Maurice patted Julien's back as Mort hugged the lemur king's feet. Kowalski, Rico and Private found it cute for their leader and neighbor to be together.
"Well I guess people could know Skilene is still one of the most powerful cartoon couple in the cartoon world." Kowalski said before he realized he broke the fourth wall.
"Kowalski, did you broke the fourth wall?" Private asked.
"Uh-oh..." Rico muttered.
"Oh great, another guy broke the fourth wall." Maurice said.
"Oh dear..." Mort muttered.
Fourth Wall: Broken.
