The skys were looming near the ground, smudged fog crawling across the moors. The chilled air blowing across the bare grounds like a silent wonderland of brown snow. Giant paws crunched over the dying plants, fur swishing across every tall blade. His jaws parted, steam emitting from his mouth. He heard another's pawsteps, crouching down. A young cat with a long tail crept by, but the world turned silent again. The tom rapidly gaped around before a figure ran into his side like a buffeting wind to a weakened leaf. With a grunt, the larger cat got up as the kid backed off. "Oh, sorry. I thought you were a rabbit." His fear spiking through his white fur like a porcupine. The brown cat glared viciously into the little one's golden eyes. "If anything, you'd be a mouse." The wind broke the awkward silence between the two. "Name's Tommy." He sputtered out of the blue, walking by. "Don't tell anyone I was here, lad." The white tom shivered, watching him slink off. "I'm… Tallpaw." He muttered, but the cat broke off into a sprint through the dusty heather. Tallpaw stood there for a bit, but it felt like a moon. His eyes were a giant pool, and his posture was crooked and arched like a collapsing bridge. Tallpaw slowly trudged off before sprinting at the flight of a bird.

Well that was short. It's just a random scene I had to write in class based off of the books we are reading. It's when some other new character comes into the story and starts to change it up.
