Scarhead

Hermione Granger was never a popular girl. While most girls in her class believed themselves to be older than their nine years, they would discuss make up, boys and the slutty clothes teenagers would wear, Hermione would rather sit down with a good book.

When Hermione got a letter for Hogwarts, she thought it was a big joke at first until Professor McGonagall came and discussed it with her parents.

Then Hermione found herself at Hogwarts. However, she was still alone. Until Halloween when Harry Potter and Ron Weasley saved her, and they became friends afterwards, going on adventures.

Now it was the summer after their third year and the three of them had met up in Surrey, knowing that Harry could not get away from his relatives until he went to stay with Ron for the last couple of weeks. This year, Hermione was also going to stay with Ron too.

"God, I am so bored" moaned Hermione.

"Who's God?" asked Ron.

"Nevermind" said Hermione, "say its like your Merlin." Ron nodded. The three of them were sitting in a park, just enjoying the sunshine, being teenagers at the only time of the year that they could.

"Oh dear" said Hermione as she looked up from her spot on the blanket they had laid out.

Three girls she went to Primary School with were walking in their direction.

"What is it?" asked Ron, looking up. Harry had fallen asleep next to them so they just let him sleep.

"Girls I knew from before I went to Hogwarts, they didn't really like me" said Hermione.

"Don't let them get to you, I like you. Harry likes you. That's good enough" said Ron and Hermione blushed.

"Oh my God. Hermione Granger. Never thought I would see you again. Its been so long" came a screeching voice. The voice belong to a tall, slim blond girl who was very a very revealing dress.

"Hello again, Melody" said Hermione, sitting up.

"What are you doing out, thought bookworms exploded in the sunlight" said the other girl. A brunette who wore shorts and a top. Her shoes were in her hands because you could not walk in heels on grass.

"That's vampires Belle" said Hermione.

"Whatever. Anyway, heard you went to some private school. Made any friends there?" sneered Melody.

"I did actually. Meet Ron, and the boy sleeping is Harry. On top of they two I also have a friend called Susan, Neville and Ginny."

"Seriously, who want to be friends with you?" asked Belle.

"Ron, sit down." The two girls looked confused until they saw that Ron was slowly losing his temper with the two girls.

"Could you go now. As you can see, me and my friends are enjoying our day out and you are kind of ruining it. Bye bye" said Hermione with a cheery wave. Going red at being dismissed like that, the two girls left.

"Well done" said Ron as he lay back down.

"Well, once you've punched Draco Malfoy in the face, you really can do anything."
